Mîrzâ Mahdûm ve Şiîlik Eleştirisi;Mirza Mahdūm and His Critique of Shiism

Bu çalışmada Mîrzâ Mahdûm'un Şîa ve onun özelinde İmâmiyye Şîası'na yaptığı eleştiriler ele alınmıştır. Bunun yanında Osmanlı ve Safevî Devletleri arasındaki büyük değişimleri, Safevîlerden göç edip Osmanlı'ya sığınan bir âlimin hayatını, eserlerini, İslâm Mezhepleri Tarihine katkılarını, dönemin mezhep çatışmalarını, kargaşa ve yaşanan olayları, büyük savaşları, siyasi ilişkileri ve özellikle Şîa'nın ana gövdesi olan İmâmiyye'nin eleştirisini konu edinmiştir. Ayrıca Kitabu'n-Nevâkid li-Zuhûri'r-Ravâfid adlı eserinde müellif, Ehl-i Sünnet ve Şiîlik arasında hangi amaçla, nerede durduğunu, kitabını yazarken ele aldığı konuları ve bu eseri yazmadaki hedefini dile getirmiştir. Müellif, bu eserindeki görüşleriyle araştırmacılara, Ehl-i Sünnet ve Şiîlik arasındaki tercihlerini de inceleme fırsatı vermiştir. Çünkü en-Nevâkid'in yazıldığı dönem, Osmanlı İmparatorluğu ile Safevî Devleti arasında ciddi çatışmaların olduğu bir dönemdir. Bu bağlamda Mahdûm'un eleştirel düşüncesi, Şîa'yı tenkit yöntemi ve özellikle İmâmiyye Şîası'nı eleştirdiği konular ayrıntılı bir şekilde ortaya konulmuştur. İngilizce This study examines the critiques of Shia Islam — particularly the Imāmiyya (Twelver) branch — made by Mīrzā Mahdūm. In addition, it explores the major transformations between the Ottoman and Safavid states, the life and works of a scholar who migrated from the Safavid realm and took refuge in the Ottoman Empire, his contributions to the history of Islamic sects, the sectarian conflicts of the period, the ensuing turmoil and key historical events, major wars, political relations, and, most notably, his criticisms of the main body of Shia thought represented by the Imāmiyya. In his work Kitāb al-Nawāqiḍ li-Ẓuhūr al-Rawāfiḍ, the author explains his position between Sunnism and Shi'ism, the topics he addressed in the writing process, and the purpose behind composing the book. Through the views expressed in this treatise, Mīrzā Mahdūm offers researchers an opportunity to examine the distinctions and preferences between Sunni and Shia thought. This is particularly significant given that al-Nawāqiḍ was written during a period of intense conflict between the Ottoman Empire and the Safavid State. Within this context, Mahdūm's critical perspective, his method of refuting Shi'a doctrines, and specifically the issues he raises in his critique of Imāmiyya Shi'ism are analyzed in detail throughout the study.
