Özet Frédéric Bastiat'nın en önemli eseri olan bu çalışma, serbest piyasa ekonomisinin toplumsal sınıflar arasında çatışma değil, doğal bir "uyum" (harmoni) yarattığını savunan liberal düşüncenin temel taşlarından biridir. Bastiat, Ricardo ve Malthus gibi döneminin karamsar iktisatçılarının aksine; sermaye birikimi arttıkça hem sermayedarın hem de işçinin refahının mutlak olarak artacağını matematiksel ve mantıksal bir çerçevede açıklar. Abstract "Harmonies of Political Economy" (Harmonies Économiques) is the magnum opus of the French economist Frédéric Bastiat. In this work, Bastiat presents a profoundly optimistic view of the market economy, arguing that the natural laws of society lead to "harmonies" rather than conflicts between different social classes. He refutes the pessimistic theories of his predecessors (like Ricardo and Malthus) by asserting that as capital increases, the absolute and relative share of wealth for the laborer also grows. Central to his thesis is the idea that value is not found in objects themselves but in the "service" rendered and received. Bastiat's work is a passionate defense of individual liberty, private property, and free trade, aiming to demonstrate that the interests of all men are fundamentally compatible under a system of voluntary exchange.
