Abstract The work titled Open Spatial Data, GIS, and GeoAI in Smart Cities addresses the transformation of smart cities and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through the lens of mobile technologies, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. The book examines spatial data infrastructures and institutional frameworks such as INSPIRE, TUCBS, MAKS, TAKBİS, and Copernicus. Furthermore, it evaluates local/national open data portals, the role of social media in urban management, geospatial artificial intelligence (GeoAI) applications, public participation GIS approaches, and case studies from an academic perspective.
